As a child, I used to hear from my elders that if I ate chewing gum, my teeth would get damaged. This is a useless thing. Now I also told my children not to eat chewing gum. But now it is known that short term memory and long term memory should be very fast.
To be able to remember things, to move forward, to store data in your brain. So what if you look at research to increase short term and long term memory then you will be surprised to see the name of chewing gum everywhere. And there is no doubt that chewing gum is especially good for boosting short term memory. When you eat chewing gum, you go into memory boost mode for 20 minutes. And in those 20 minutes, whatever you write, whatever you remember, whatever new research you see, it will be remembered for a long time. It tries to make a person stress free, if you want to read then stress is an obstacle for you, your learning.
If you want to learn something new, you must eat chewing gum. According to an American study, 107 children were taken in one place, they were divided into two parts. One group was fed chewing gum and one group was given nothing. And these children were given 6 different difficult activities, out of which 5 were completed by the children who were eating chewing gum and one activity was done by the children who were not eating anything.
This is because science is researching the difference between chewing gum and the fact that we go into memory boost mode as soon as we eat it. And it doesn't matter if it's sweet or sugar-free chewing gum or not. These results can also be obtained from sugar free chewing gum.
This is the whole series of research. It turns out that:
This increases our focus and attention.
It raises our heart rate. Blood flow increases, the flow to the brain increases, which gives more oxygen to the brain, which boosts our memory.
This causes our stress hormones to take our body out of stress. They are released when we are under extreme stress. These cortisol and adrenaline are two related hormones with stress but they have different functions. It increases our focus, releases stress and calms us down.
In this connection another research was done in which children were seated in a very turbulent environment, in which they were given a quiz, and in this too a group was fed chewing gum and one was not given anything. So it turned out that the children who were given chewing gum were doing their job with great focus and calmly doing this quiz while the children of the other group were constantly affected by this movement. And then their results came out in the same way.
Many other researches were done in which positive results came to light. But keep in mind that children or adults should not be so accustomed to chewing gum that they cannot live without it. Other than that it contains a lot of sugar, so try to use sugar free chewing gum. That's why if you or your child is being tested, feed them chewing gum, it improves memory by sharpening the brain.
